Histiocytes arranged in palisades or interspersed among collagen bundles, or both, in well-defined foci in the reticular dermis; zones of normal dermis separate foci of granulomatous inflammation
Copious mucin, sometimes in company with variable amounts of fibrin and of degenerated bundles of collagen, within centers of palisaded granulomas and in association with histiocytes scattered instestitially
Neutorophils and nuclear "dust" of neutrophils often within centers of palisades
